The fourth guru of the Sikhs, guru Ram dashad built a pool here which currently houses the temple. Nearly two thousand eaters are served the food prepared at the Guru Ka langar.
- Wagah border is an extremely delicate but important place in Amritsar. Wagah border is a separating point between India and Pakistan.
